How Khademy protects learner information

Information we collect

Khademy collects the information needed to run a course learning platform. This can include your name, email address, profile image, account settings, selected language, course enrollments, cart activity, learning progress, quiz answers, comments, and messages you submit through the platform.

When instructors create courses, we may collect course drafts, descriptions, thumbnails, lessons, videos, resources, quiz content, moderation notes, and publishing history. When you make a payment, we store order and enrollment records, but full payment credentials are handled by our payment provider.

How we use information

• Create and secure your account.
• Show courses, enrollments, progress, quizzes, comments, and certificates or completion state when available.
• Process carts, purchases, refunds, and learner access periods.
• Help instructors upload, review, publish, replace, or remove course materials.
• Moderate courses and comments so the platform stays safe for learners.
• Improve reliability, debug errors, prevent abuse, and protect the platform from fraud or unauthorized access.
• Send service messages such as account, enrollment, purchase, moderation, and security notices.

Course access and learner progress

We keep records of which courses you enrolled in, when access starts, when access ends, and how far you have progressed. This lets you continue lessons from My Learning, unlock course videos and resources you are allowed to view, and keep access aligned with the course plan you purchased or joined.

Comments and community content

Comments, replies, profile details, and other content you post may be visible to other users in the relevant course area. Please avoid sharing private information in public course discussions.

Who we share information with

We share information only when needed to operate the platform, comply with law, protect users, or complete a request you make. This can include payment processing, account authentication, email delivery, cloud hosting, media streaming, storage, analytics, security, and error monitoring providers.

We do not sell your personal information. Instructors can see learner activity that is needed to support their courses, such as comments, progress, and enrollment information for courses they teach.

Cookies and local storage

Khademy uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language, maintain cart state, protect sessions, and improve the reliability of the learning experience.

Student and minor privacy

Khademy is built for Cambodian learners, including Grade 9-12 and university students. If you are under the age required to manage your own online account in your location, use the platform with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or responsible adult.

Security and retention

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect account, course, and payment records. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password and keep your account access private.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the platform, keep enrollment and purchase records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and maintain backups. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practical.

Your choices

• You can update profile details from your account area.
• You can stop using the platform at any time.
• You can contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or account questions.
• Some records, such as purchases, moderation, security, and required business records, may need to be kept even after an account change.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Khademy grows. When changes are meaningful, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice inside the platform.
